Sweet little kittens

I interrupt the regularly scheduled decorating, design and diy posts to share

a couple little sweeties that were adopted last week.

 

Have you ever tried to photograph
 two little rambunctious kittens?

I have been trying to photograph those little grand kittens I promised to show you

and it has left me wondering - 

is there a specific setting on the camera made just for 

 'kittens that jump and roll and move all around all the time'?

It's all about Decked Out Finds over at HomeGoods this week!

I love the outdoors- entertaining, relaxing, listening to a little music or sinking my toes into the sand
on our little faux beach...
outdoor living is a huge part of our lives so I am loving this theme for sure
and am excited to be the guest judge for the week!

Decked Out Finds is all about the outdoors. 

Furniture, decor, pillows, etc. any outdoor item whether you are using it outdoors or indoors. 

My Comedians

You know, sometimes I feel like I am in the middle of a movie 

surrounded by comedians.

The type of movie where one character starts something 

and another picks it up 

and the third joins in 

and then all chaos breaks loose and before you know it 

everyone is rolling on the floor laughing

Then it just keeps going because someone laughing hysterically
 is just plain funny.

The other day the laughter all started because one of the comedians

showed up for photos wearing something like

 a nice button shirt with suspenders paired with

It's been a busy week over here~  I have been babysitting my new little grand kittens

during the day while my son and his girlfriend are at work.

You will be seeing them a few photos of them soon ~ they are so darling!!

Let's get on to the highlights and get the party started!

It all started with the dishwasher

It happened one evening while I was cleaning up in the kitchen. 

I loaded the dishwasher, pressed start and walked away. 

But a few minutes later, when I walked by I wondered why it wasn't running. 

Didn't I press start?
I started it again and I waited until I heard the motor kick on
and it started to fill with water and then walked away again.

But a few minutes later... it was quiet again.
  I sighed and shook my head
aggravated thinking about how my plans for the next day included
taking that dishwasher out again to try to fix it.

This dishwasher was a problem since we purchased it. 

The motor was replaced within the first 6 months, and the pump has been taken apart several times

 to check a seal or clean it. 

The repair guy said to keep an eye on it- because there seemed to have been a lot of these with issues. 

 So, when it has a problem- I know it means I will be taking the dishwasher out and taking it apart
 It's been done often enough that Cullan and I don't even have to watch the You Tube video
 on how to take everything apart any more.
